Baton Rouge, LA– The Baton Rouge Police Department has launched an investigation following the discovery of a man’s body in a field.
Roofers working on a job at Tim’s Food Mart found the body of an unidentified adult male around noon on Wednesday, July 10, according to police.
The body was located in a lot on North Ardenwood Drive near Florida Boulevard.
After the roofers contacted the police, the East Baton Rouge Coroner’s Office responded to the scene. Authorities are awaiting the coroner’s report to determine the cause of death.
