Mevo Beitar, Israel — A family in Israel noticed a large piece of a ballistic missile on their roof while on their morning walk. No injuries have been reported.

At around 3 in the morning, Michal Wexler and her family were woken from sleep by sirens. They reportedly took shelter in their home’s safe room but said that they did not hear anything out of the ordinary when the missile hit their roof. She says “It’s not the smallest part, but we did not hear anything really unusual in the night.”

In fact it wasn’t until the next morning that they discovered the damage. “When we went out for our usual morning walk we saw broken tiles. Only when we looked up did we see a missile on our roof.”
Michal says the family is unharmed.
The missile has since been removed from the house.
