Pennsylvania Roofer Dies After Fall From High School Roof

Mill Hall, PA — A 27-year-old roofing contractor was killed Friday, September 6, at Central Mountain High School in Clinton County.

According to State Police, Kyler Keller of Lewistown was climbing a ladder with a 5-gallon bucket when the ladder shifted. Keller fell 30 feet to the concrete below.

Police said that although another worker was holding the ladder at the base, the top shifted as Keller tried to put the bucket on the roof. The ladder slid sideways along the top of building, causing him to fall.

School staff performed life-saving procedures until emergency personnel arrived. Keller was taken to UPMC Lock Haven, where he died.
